Uniting Cultures,
Serving Sydney.

The Lions Club of Sydney Multicultural Unity brings together people from every cultural background — based in Strathfield, rescuing food with Aldi, cleaning up our community, and serving the Lions way.

Our Mission

A Lions Club for a multicultural Sydney.

Sydney is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. SMULC was founded — and chartered under Lions District 201N5 in April 2026 — to bring that diversity together at one Lions meeting table, based right in the heart of the city's multicultural west in Strathfield.

We serve side by side across cultures, cutting food waste and cost of living with the Aldi Food Rescue, keeping our shared spaces welcoming through Community Clean-Ups, and following the Lions motto that unites us all: We Serve.

Unity in Diversity

The difference SMULC brings.

SMULC isn't a club built around one heritage. We're Lions of every background — long-settled Australians, recent migrants, international students — serving together every week. A food rescue shift, a clean-up drive, a meeting: all of it is an opportunity for cultures to meet, learn from each other, and build something that belongs to all of Sydney.
